Tips On Successful Dog Training


Some Points To Successful Dog Training:

1. Set goals – You set boundaries and expectations for the training. You know where you are going and plan out the sessions.
2. Be realistic – Know the pace of your dog and expect your dog to perform certain tricks based on your dog’s learning pace.
3. Be patient – Each dog learns at different speeds, be patient and help your dog if she needs special attention.
4. Be consistent – Once you find a training set program that works on your dog, keep it consistent and do not change it.
5.Practice often – It is better to train your dog in a short session but do it frequently in a day.
6. Use positive reinforcement – Use positive method to teach your dog to meet your expectation.
7. Give treat or reward – Give your dog a praise or treat once she delivers your message correctly.
8. Avoid punishment – Harsh treatments will only confuse your dog and there is no place for your dog learning development curve.
9. Stay positive – Always eager to learn and try if something does not work like your expectation.
10. Be generous – Rewards such as treats, praise, toys and love correct responses often. Be generous when you want to give rewards to your dog that has done something like you want her to do.
